Passed away peacefully at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the age of 97.
Beloved wife of the late James “Jock” Purdy; loving mother of Doug (Bonnie) Purdy, Irene (Robert) Watt, Bill (Laura) Purdy and daughter-in-law Linda Purdy. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Hussey.
Vera was predeceased by her parents Nelson and Carrie Hallman, sisters Bertha Burgess, Phyllis McMahon and brother Elton Hallman.
Graveside Service was held at New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorial donations may be made to charity of your choice.
